Eartham

This is an old project, but one that we are still very proud of. We had previously carried out extensions and alterations to The Coach House. We were then asked to carry out the renovation of the stables which were on the same grounds. The plans were drawn up by Pope Stevens Architecture and we set to work in 2012.

The clients brief had some excellent design aspects to it, including the bespoke oak stairs shown in the picture below and York stone paving. There was also a highly technical design which included damp proofing and the installation of a ground source heat pump.

 

The final result exceeded even our own expectations and the project ended up as a Sussex Heritage Trust Award winner in 2013.
